Jennifer grew up in Huntington, WV and attended Marshall University majoring in Business Management. She has a passion for life issues and mentoring mothers. She’s been mentoring mothers for the last 20 years and has lead various initiatives for life issues and empowering women. Jennifer is working on her certification as a Nurturing Parenting Programs facilitator with Family Development Resources. She will receive her MBTI Certified Practitioner certification this summer as well. Jennifer is a member of the Alachua County Child Abuse Prevention Task Force and is a community partner with DCF. She is married to Shawn and together with their 5 children, reside in Gainesville, Fl
Shawn grew up in Proctorville, Ohio and attended Marshall University majoring in Psychology. Shawn is the VP & General Manager for Florical Systems in Gainesville, Fl. He has been featured in several national trade magazines for his pioneering leadership in broadcast automation. He currently serves in prison outreach with Casting The Net and is on the Board of Directors for Christian Life Missions in Orlando, Fl. He’s passionate about seeing people reach their potential. Shawn is married to Jennifer and together with their 5 children, reside in Gainesville, Fl.
Lori was born and raised in New York, where she attended Katharine Gibbs School of Business. Lori then moved to Virginia to pursue her career in the Government Relations department at the American Gas Association. In 2001, she made Florida her home with her husband and children. Lori has been actively involved in children’s ministry for the last 15 years. She has been involved in various aspects of early childhood education. She is passionate about children and empowering women. Lori is married to Andres and resides in Gainesville, Fl with her husband and 3 sons.
Michelle is the Recruitment Specialist for Partnership for Strong Families. A graduate of the University of Florida, she holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Family, Youth and Community Sciences with a minor in Leadership. Michelle has worked in child welfare for three years. In her current role, Michelle is responsible for recruiting foster parents through social media advertisement and community events. Michelle grew up on the beaches of the Gulf Coast but now calls Gainesville home with her husband Dominick. She has a passion for connecting people with God as well as connecting them with tangible resources to help with reaching their fullest potential.
Angie E. Riviere
Angie was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and raised in Miami, Florida. In the summer of 2011, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Family, Youth and Community Sciences with a minor in Family Life Education from the University of Florida; she then received a Bachelor of Social Work from St. Leo University in the spring of 2015. Angie is passionate about partnering with people and agencies to help enhance and empower those around her. She works for Prestige Health Choice, where she works with community stakeholders to ensure that people have access to needed information, services, and resources. She also serves on LifeStream Foundation Board of Directors and the Florida SIDS Alliance Board of Directors.
Katie spent her childhood in Lakewood, Ohio and grew up in a ministry-oriented family. She pursued her degree in education at Southeastern University. Katie has been a Gainesville resident for 13 years with her husband Jared and their 3 children. They are a foster family and desire for families to find love, healing, and restoration through the finished work of Jesus. Katie loves to teach and has worked for Alachua County schools, Santa Fe, and UF, and is currently homeschooling her children. She serves as a coordinator for GreenLife Homeschool Community.
Tamara is a Florida native who grew up on the “Space Coast,” but has also called California’s “Lost Coast” home. She moved to Gainesville in 2013. Tamara studied web design, digital media, and journalism while pursuing an Interdisciplinary Studies degree at the University of Central Florida. She has a professional background in advertising and marketing within the news and association markets. Tamara has a passion for helping others.
Stephanie began pursuing her goal of becoming a leader in women’s health in 2011. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2013 and has spent her nursing career on the postpartum and labor and delivery units. Currently, she is a Gator once again aiming for a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and certification as a Nurse Midwife. Stephanie dreams of being a part of a community which seeks to prioritize the support and empowerment of women and their families through health care education. She resides in Gainesville, FL.
Lindy Knisely, BSN
Lindy is wife and mother of two children. She graduated from Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Science. She worked as full-time RN in Labor/Delivery and Pediatrics. In 2012, Lindy began working as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in the Orthopedic industry at Exactech, Inc. in Gainesville Florida. After the birth of her second child, she and her husband made the decision for her to stay at home with their children. Now she continues to maintain her nursing license and home schools her two children. She is currently a part of GreenLife Homeschool Community and volunteers her time there as the Art coordinator/teacher and Pediatric Health Advisor. Lindy also volunteers as the President of the Home Owners Association for the community in which she lives. Her hobbies and interest include maintaining a strong relationship with God and healthy lifestyle, mountain biking, lifting weights, and practicing yoga. Her passion lies in empowering other mothers to stay healthy and nurture their family well. Lindy is a teacher in our Renewed Hope Program.
